Hayden: Too Few Options Available After Attack on Benghazi Consulate

Hoekstra Says Guantanamo Won't be Closed

Former House Intelligence Committee Chairman Pete Hoekstra (R-MI) told LIGNET in this interview that the Guantanamo Bay, Cuba detention facility is the best possible place to hold its dangerous terrorist inmates. Hoekstra said he does not understand why President Obama recently said he would resume his efforts to close the Guantanamo prison, but the Congressman believes there is no chance of this happening due to strong bipartisan opposition in Congress.
