Bubo Na Tchuto has close ties to Gambian President Yahya Jammeh . . . Guinea-Bissau is an important stop for drug traffickers trying to smuggle cocaine from South America to Europe . . . Jammeh has also been accused of supporting separatist rebels in the unstable Casamance region of Senegal . . . Jammeh is likely behind the attempted coup . . . Jammeh has desires to unify the Casamance and Guinea-Bissau under Gambian rule.
