Estonia/Czech Republic: Tallinn & Prague Refuse to Contribute to IMF Euro Rescue

Estonia’s Finance Ministry said it would not participate in assisting other European Union countries in channeling $265 billion to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to help rescue the Eurozone . . . Estonia did not participate in a previous IMF rescue in 2009  . . . the President of the Czech Republic, Vaclav Klaus, also refused to assist the IMF Euro rescue plan, saying “it would be irresponsible to increase our debt by providing more loans to the extremely indebted countries” . . . the German central bank has also expressed disinterest in the IMF euro-rescue plan. . . growing opposition to the IMF capital infusion plan could be a sign of more troubles for the eurozone.
