Mr. Fleitz joined the Central Intelligence Agency during the directorship of William J. Casey and served as a senior analyst for almost two decades. During the administration of President George W. Bush, Mr. Fleitz served as chief of staff to John Bolton, then Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security.

In 2006, Mr. Fleitz became a professional staff member with the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, acting as a senior advisor to Rep. Peter Hoekstra, the committee chairman and later ranking Republican member.

During an intelligence and public career spanning 25 years, Mr. Fleitz specialized in global, international and economic security, terrorism, weapons of mass destruction, peacekeeping, the United Nations, arms control and intelligence collection. His duties have taken him to hot spots around the globe as a representative of the United States. Mr. Fleitz is the author of Peacekeeping Fiascoes of the 1990s (Praeger) and is completing a book on how 9/11 changed the role and effectiveness of U.S. intelligence. Mr Fleitz holds an MA in Political Economy from Fordham University and a BA in Politics from Saint Joseph's University.

Dr. Jack Caravelli has had extensive experience in both the intelligence and policymaking sides of the US government. He joined the CIA as a Soviet strategic forces analyst in 1982 and spent the next fourteen years with the Agency in various analytic, staff and managerial positions.

In 1996 he was selected to serve on the White House National Security Council Staff as Director for Nonproliferation with responsibility to the president for the formation of US nonproliferation policy on Russia and the Middle East. In 2000 he moved to the Department of Energy to serve as Deputy Assistant Secretary of the department's nonproliferation threat reduction programs on Russia and other states of the former Soviet Union.

Since leaving government service in 2005, Caravelli has remained active in various national security activities. He is the author of several books on nonproliferation and foreign policy issues and co-editor of a book on strategizing resilience. Caravelli is a Visiting Professor at the UK Defense Academy and lectures at Oxford University where he is a member of the Board of Advisors for the Pluscarden Program on Intelligence and Terrorism. His undergraduate and graduate degrees are from Georgetown University.

James S. Robbins is a national security analyst and military historian who holds a doctorate and master’s degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy in Medford, Mass. He also holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees in political science from the University of Cincinnati.

Dr. Peter Warburton is director of Economic Perspectives Ltd., an international consultancy based in Britain, and managing director of Halkin Services Ltd., an international risk analysis and asset allocation service.

He is an economist for Ruffer LLP, a London investment management company, and worked 15 years in the City as UK economist for Lehman Brothers and economic adviser to investment bank Robert Fleming & Co. He has been a member of the Institute for Economic Affairs’ Shadow Monetary Policy Committee since its inception in 1997. He published “Debt and Delusion” in 1999.

Dr. Groombridge has an extensive background in international affairs. Between 2001 and 2008, he served as a senior adviser at the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Mission to the United Nations in New York, and the U.S. Commerce Department.

In these positions, he was responsible for a wide range of international security and trade issues, including nuclear proliferation, dual-use export controls, and proliferation financing. He was heavily involved in diplomatic efforts to curb North Korea's nuclear weapons program and was a delegate to the Six-Party Talks on North Korea. Prior to his service in government, Dr. Groombridge was a research scholar at both the Cato Institute and the American Enterprise Institute. He is the author (with Claude E. Barfield) of Tiger by the Tail: China and the World Trade Organization, as well numerous articles on U.S. foreign policy in Asia. Dr. Groombridge's work has been widely cited and he has appeared on many national and international programs. Dr. Groombridge has taught at George Washington, Johns Hopkins, and Columbia University. In addition to his current affiliation with the Langley Intelligence Group, he serves as the Executive Director of Decide America, an organization dedicated to generating discussion on national security. Dr. Groombridge holds a Ph.D. in political science from Columbia University and a B.A. in Chinese and International Relations from the University of Minnesota.
